What is OG Yoga?
Og Yoga is a San Diego based 501 (c)(3) project that brings yoga to underserved communities. OG Yoga delivers trauma informed mindfulness based yoga through partnerships with non-profit organizations serving marginalized individuals and correctional facilities to support healing, resilience, self-development and positive social change.
The OG Yoga model:
Restorative, mindful and meditative eightfold yoga practice dealing with physical, moral, mental and spiritual well-being, flexibility, strength, balance, relaxation, connection, peace and self-knowledge. Yoga alliance certified instructors with at least 200 hours of teaching experience. Specialized training in trauma-informed programming for youth, seniors and adults facing homelessness, poverty, abuse, addiction, behavioral challenges, incarceration and reentry. Strategic alliance with prison yoga project. Member of the yoga service council, a 5013 formed in 2009 in collaboration with the omega institute, to maximize the effectiveness, sustainability, and impact of organizations like OG Yoga working to make yoga and mindfulness equally accessible to all.

With a 53-part television show called VedaCleanse and a 12-part series called Divine Yoga, as well as a popular blog offering Ayurvedic recipes and inspiration in the kitchen, a dynamic clinical practice and an international teaching schedule, Laura is a leading educator on the power of the Vedic sciences to promote sacred health and sumptuous living.
Formerly the General Manager of The Discovery Channel Europe, Laura is now the founder/director of VedaWise, offering clinical services in natural medicine for whole person wellness and trainings in the Vedic sciences. She offers classes and consultations in Ayurveda, Jyotish, Yoga Therapy, Whole Food Cooking and Nutrition, and serves as a contributing Ayurvedic educator at the UCSD Center for Integrative Medicine.
Working for years in the fields of health and human potential, Laura is a Vedic Healer, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, food writer, and co-founder of the Deep Yoga School of Healing Arts. She has studied the world over with some of the greatest luminaries of our time, practicing and sharing what she has learned from ancient, proven wisdom for modern, dynamic times.
Laura’s blog food-alovestory.com is an inspirational resource for Ayurvedic recipes and wise living. Her popular whole food, plant based seasonal cleanses are powerful, effective and deliciously nourishing. Her articles on health and wellness have been published in Huffington Post, Ayurveda Next Door, Spirituality & Health, and the Times of India, among other national and international media.

Ryan Glidden, Co-Founder at MOSAIC, has a passion for identifying and learning the best services, methods and philosophies that support and nurture the health and wellness of human beings. Ryan has studied at the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the CHEK Institute for advanced performance, the Metabolic Typing Education Center and Symmetry’s school for alignment therapy. He recognizes health as the balance and synergy of the human body’s many systems, reflected in the way we eat, move, breath, think, rest and surrender.
Additionally Ryan is a 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Ryan is the team lead for MOSAIC’s Health and Yoga services and is the creator and director of MOSAIC’s yoga teacher training program. Ryan is a regular contributor to Yoga Digest Magazine and the author of Good Being, Good Living: A Modern Model for Sustained Holistic Health.

Sophia became a registered yoga teacher in 2009 and then earned a Master Degree in Leadership in 2013 from the University of San Diego. Continuing with the theme of the human condition, Sophia’s time at USD focused on how to create the spaces for human beings to uncover their own potency in the first leadership act, their story. Through her work at USD and MOSAIC, Sophia has combined the wisdom of leadership and yoga into delivering classes and trainings that teach leadership as a discipline of self-examination towards embodying truth. Sophia is driven by her passion to create the spaces for human beings to be leaders who embody health, wisdom and soul.
Dave will be performing at the Kick Off Event and Sunset Friday Flows
DTO composes, teaches, and performs piano and electronic music for yoga, weddings, and inspirational events. Through his music he soulfully uplifts the human experience.
He will soon be releasing his iTunes debut with Grammy-nominated producer, StoneBridge.
His latest achievement is the full-length album, nameless energy.
He has co-created with many world renowned yogis, and has performed at many national and international events such as Yoga Rocks the Park, and Lightening in a Bottle.
