This is an all levels class taught by instructor Beth Belkin that requires no previous yoga experience; come alone, bring a friend, a lover or a partner. This class will leave you feeling more open and available for love than when you began!
Join us for an hour yoga class that explores and celebrates the practice of SELF-LOVE. We will move through a deep hip and heart opening practice as a means to release what we no longer need. By making space in the areas of the body we store old emotional patterns in, we will ultimately allow our heart space to open more freely to those around us.
The practice will begin on your own mat; journeying through a mix of fluid vinyasa postures and will ultimately end by investigating some deeper yin and restorative yoga poses. The practice will also include some postures that will be enhanced by the other people in class, because nothing says LOVE more than being vulnerable while feeling supported and safe.
Join nationally renown artist, Ann Golumbuk for a LOVE themed Valentine's Day painting workshop, Painting With Purpose: a contemporary acrylic painting class where you can expect to learn exciting new painting techniques while exploring your true self and the power of creating. Ann incorporates mindfulness and meditation techniques in her teaching methods. Be prepared to draw outside the lines and think outside the box. Your art piece will be a little treasure for you to keep.
Solterra owner and winemaker, Chris Van Alyea, grew up in Sonoma County and has been making wine for the last 16 years from grapes sourced from Sonoma county, Lake County, Paso Robles, San Diego County, and Baja Mexico. The wines have garnered Golds and Best of Class at top competitions in California.
While the majority of wineries are set among vineyards in the warm inland valleys, Solterra is situated a couple of blocks from the beach in beautiful north county San Diego. "Our goal is to offer an educational and satisfying wine experience to residents who will be able to enjoy the process and our wines locally. We strive to make the best wine possible utilizing grapes from locally sourced vineyards along with grapes from all over California and Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico. We age all of our red wines in predominately French oak barrels for a minimum of 14-24 months depending on the varietal and style of wine that we are looking to produce. Most of our fermentations are done in small open top fermenters with a variety of hand selected yeasts that bring complexity to the wines. Currently in barrel and bottle we have 14 different red varietals, 3 whites, rose', port, and late harvest wines." - Winemaker, Chris Van Alyea
